St Botolphs will provide a Headquarters office building standing on an island site of 1.25 acres on the eastern side of The City of London. The scheme, designed by internationally renowned architects, Grimshaw is for a 14 storey landmark office building with circa 560,000 sq ft accommodation, including retail space.
The scheme, will provide highly versatile flexible floor plates and will be finished to shell and core specification. The development has project funding in place and is under construction, with completion scheduled for the Summer 2010. Some 45% of the office space is pre-let to Lockton International and Clyde and Co LLP. The Topping Out took place on 5th February 2010 with The Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of London Alderman Nick Anstee performing the Ceremony. The superstructure and cladding are complete (with the exception of hoist infills) and all major plant has been installed within the basement and roof. Lockton International commenced fit out of levels 1 and 2 on 1st December 2009 and are due to occupy on 1st June 2010.
