Minerva today announces that Andrew Rosenfeld has informed the Board of his wish to stand down as Non-Executive Chairman. £275m agreed funding for the development of The Walbrook, London EC4

Minerva plc, the FTSE 250 property company, announces today that it has agreed a £275 million senior debt facility to develop The Walbrook, a 440,000 sq ft freehold office development in the heart of The City of London, designed by Foster & Partners. In September 2005, Minerva announced its intention to build The Walbrook, and this funding will enable the Group to commence work on this prime City development speculatively during summer 2006 with completion expected in the summer of 2009. The final development will incorporate a flexible internal configuration for both single and multiple tenant occupation.
