Appointment of Non-Executive Director

The Board of Minerva Plc ("Minerva" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel Kitchen as a non-executive director with effect from 4^th May 2010. This appointment comes following the Board's announcement of its intention to supplement its non-executive director membership in Minerva's latest Annual Report and Accounts.

Daniel was previously Deputy Chief Executive of Heron International Plc, one of Europe's leading property investment and development companies. He held this position for five years. Before his role at Heron International Plc, Daniel was Finance Director of Green Property Plc for eight years.

He is currently non - executive Chairman of Irish Nationwide Building Society, is a non-executive director of Kingspan Group plc and of LXB Retail Properties plc and is a member of the Irish Takeover Panel.

There are no further details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13 in connection with Daniel Kitchen's appointment.
